The General Administration of Cybersecurity at King Saud University organized the “Absher” events within the university in cooperation with Tuwaiq Academy and the Ministry of Interior, as part of the activities of the Absher Conference 2025, which is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior and focuses on digital transformation, digital identity, and cybersecurity in the Kingdom. A number of specialized workshops were conducted across several colleges of the university.

The workshops aimed to raise the level of cybersecurity awareness by addressing topics related to digital identity, cybersecurity and safety, in addition to empowering students and university affiliates to adopt secure digital practices. The number of beneficiaries reached no fewer than 400 participants, contributing to data protection and enhancing the reliability of the digital environment.

These workshops come within the framework of supporting digital transformation pathways, strengthening cooperation between educational and governmental entities, and reinforcing the culture of cybersecurity, in alignment with national development objectives.
