In accordance with the Royal Order No. 37140 dated 14/08/1438 AH, which stipulates the establishment of an independent department responsible for cybersecurity within the organization, the Acting President of the University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman, approved the establishment of the General Department of Cybersecurity as an independent department reporting directly to him. The Department is responsible for strengthening cybersecurity across the University, developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies throughout all University entities, and protecting the University’s technological assets to ensure the continuity of its educational, research, and administrative operations, to align with the strategic goals of the university.
