A word of the General Administration of Cyber Security
In light of the rapid digital transformation taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and within the goals of the blessed Vision 2030 under the leadership of His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect them – King Saud University is paying great attention to developing its digital infrastructure and maintaining the security of its data and information.
From this perspective, the establishment of the General Department of Cybersecurity was a strategic step towards building a safe and reliable educational environment that keeps pace with the goals of digital transformation and is in line with the national regulations issued by the National Cybersecurity Authority. Through its plans and initiatives, the department seeks to protect the university's technical and information assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data by implementing cybersecurity best practices.
We believe that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility that requires awareness and cooperation from all university staff. We, the members of the General Department of Cybersecurity, work as a team to develop policies and procedures, spread a culture of cybersecurity awareness, and provide advanced technical solutions that contribute to enhancing the university's readiness to meet cyber challenges efficiently and professionally.
We affirm our commitment to moving forward towards a secure digital space that enhances the university's progress and contributes to achieving its development aspirations. We ask God for success and guidance.
